Why Autumn Is So Special to Me
Autumn always gives me a sense of calm and focus. After the heat of summer, the cooler weather feels refreshing. I enjoy going for walks, watching the leaves turn red and yellow, and feeling the gentle wind on my face.
I also love the natural rhythm of autumn. It feels like a time to slow down, reflect, and prepare for new goals. Many of my ESL students also say autumn helps them study better because the temperature is comfortable and the days feel more relaxing.
And of course, I enjoy autumn foods—pumpkin soup, hot tea, roasted sweet potatoes, and warm apple desserts. These dishes are simple, satisfying, and perfect for “cozy nights.”
