The YSI EC300A portable meter provides conductivity, specific conductance, salinity, TDS, and temperature readings for water quality testing applications, as well as automatic temperature compensation, an LCD screen, and a four-electrode conductivity cell. This meter has automatic temperature compensation (ATC) for accurate readings in fluctuating temperatures, and pushbutton calibration capabilities. Onscreen tutorial messages for calibration and measurement procedures display on a large LCD screen for ease of viewing. The meter's four-electrode conductivity cell is designed for field use. It has a memory function that can store up to 50 data sets and calibration backup that preserves settings when the power is off. The unit operates on a single 9V battery, and turns off automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life. It has a low-battery indicator that signals when the battery needs to be replaced. The meter's sealed housing is Ingress Protection certified IP67 for protection against dust and short periods of immersion in water.
