<>Universal Ignitor Board Large 12vThe UIB S, UIBS Post, UIB L and UIB L Post Circuit boards are now Test Engineers International (TEI) certified to UL Spec. 372 and UL Spec. 353 as pertains to the RV industry. TEI is an independent testing laboratory listed with the RVIA. The UIB Series Ignitor boards are for use in furnaces, water heaters and some refrigerators such as Norcold and Servel. These four basic styles of older large boards and newer small boards with spade or post (spark plug style top) high voltage connectors are all “3 try” boards. The replaceable fuse protects the board from short circuits on the NC and valve terminals. A handy diagnostics LED glows green when power is applied to the board and turns red when the board activates the gas valve. The boards also have very good surge protection and tolerance to ripple voltage from “Battery charger type” converters.
